Dodge City, Kansas – Honoring Veterans, Promoting Patriotism, Serving Our Community
Helping Veterans Here at Home
Donations to Charles Earnest Scott American Legion Post 47 help us support veterans in the Dodge City area and veterans living at Fort Dodge. Contributions also help us encourage youth leadership through our support of the Dodge City High School Air Force Junior ROTC and provide family-friendly events for the local community.
Many veterans and their families face challenges that are not always visible. A local donation can help provide comfort, encouragement, practical assistance, and meaningful support close to home.
Post 47 works to direct donated funds toward programs and needs that benefit veterans in our community and at Fort Dodge.

Your donation does not disappear into a distant program. It helps Post 47 continue serving veterans in the community we share.
Whether the contribution is large or small, it becomes part of a local effort to make sure veterans know their service is remembered and that their community still stands beside them.
Contact Post 47 if you have questions about making a donation, arranging a drop-off, or supporting a specific local veteran effort.
“Your generosity helps us continue honoring service, responding to local needs, and reminding veterans that their community has not forgotten them.”
